Vintage Embroidery Garden Linen Pocket Handmade Fabric Tote by Lyssy May - Blue Stripe

This handmade design gives new life to a vintage embroidered doily (one of a matching set of two) that has been repurposed as a front pocket on a blue and white striped cotton twill tote. 

The garden scene pocket of a butterfly and flowers has been lovingly stitched in stranded cotton and has a crochet edging. It is the perfect size to hold your smart phone or glasses on the outside of the bag. 

The tote is light weight and fully lined with pink homespun cotton and also has 2 inside pockets in the contrasting twill. It will fit everyday essentials, including a tablet, wallet and notebooks.

Bag Size:  Portrait shaped 33 cm wide x 31 cm high x 5 cm deep 

Handle Length:  56 cm x 2.5 cm with a 24 cm drop to fit comfortably over the shoulder
